Yes, this is done by the open software interface (OSI). By use of the OSI interface the signals are requested periodically from the data logger or the bms and transferred to the test system by variables. These variables are defined by a mapping method where the signals get names and are mapped to test channels. The variables can be used to control the test plan and the variables can also be registered. It is possible to use the signals of a data logger within different test channels and it is possible to use one signal in several test channels. If there is for example one signal the ambient temperature, this signal can be used in all test channels.
